林磐聳 LIN,PAN-SONG

中華民國美術設計協會 理事長

林磐聳1957年生於屏東縣東港鎮，是國內首位以視覺設計領域成就榮獲國家文藝獎的得主(2007年)，在設計教育、設計實務和設計推廣等各方面皆有卓越成就，曾任國立臺灣師範大學副校長，有「臺灣設計界導師」、「臺灣設計發光體」美譽。

1985年其編著《企業識別系統/CIS》一書，是國內第一本有關CIS的專書；1990年創設「臺灣印象海報設計聯誼會/Taiwan Image」，積極推動臺灣設計師參與國際設計競賽，2003年獲選紐約Phaidon出版的《Area：100 Grphic Designers,10 Curators,10 Design classics》名列世界百大設計家之一，將臺灣設計界推上國際舞臺。

Born in 1957 in Donggang Town, Pingtung County, LIN Pan-song is the first person in Taiwan to receive the National Award for Arts in the field of visual design (2007). He has made outstanding achievements in design education, practical design, and design promotion. He served as the Vice President of National Taiwan Normal University and is known as the "Mentor of Taiwan's Design Community" and the "Luminary of Taiwan's Design."

In 1985, he authored and edited the book “Corporate Identity System/CIS”（《企業識別系統/CIS》）, which was the first specialized book on CIS in Taiwan. In 1990, he founded the “Taiwan Poster Design Association/Taiwan Image,” actively promoting Taiwanese designers’ participation in international design competitions. In 2003, he was selected by Phaidon Press in New York for inclusion in “Area: 100 Graphic Designers, 10 Curators, 10 Design Classics,” recognizing him as one of the top 100 designers in the world and bringing Taiwanese design onto the international stage.
